Hi! My name is Prisha Gorkhali and I am a sixth grader at John Glenn Middle School! I am the head of the baking department in this business! For some background information, I am 11 years old and I come from a Nepali family. If you don’t know where Nepal is, it borders two very large countries: India and China. Nepal is such a beautiful country as it is home to the great Mt. Everest and other stunning monumental sites. I am the first generation from my family to be born and raised here in America with all my great friends and family!
If I am not doing school work or am in school, you will definitely find me in the kitchen. Even if it’s at five in the morning, I will be busting out food faster than you can say Worcestershire sauce! I bake all sorts of items from classic ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookies to cakes for my aunts' and uncles' birthdays! Beside making classic American food, I also love to go out of the box and make all sorts of cultural food. Just recently, I baked the softest batch of pandesal (Filipino bread) and it was delicious! Baking really does bring me joy and it helps me overcome times when I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed by big events in my life.
I am so grateful that I have an opportunity to experiment and share my creations with others. I hope you enjoy all of our baked goods and knitted goods and thank you so much!
